A militant identified as Bilal alias Badr has reportedly gone missing in South Waziristan after allegedly entering the area with a TTP group from Afghanistan’s Khost province.

According to the claim, Bilal entered Pakistan as part of a tashkeel associated with the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), also referred to in the statement as “Fitna al-Khawarij.” He is reportedly believed to have disappeared somewhere in the Shawal or Sararogha areas of South Waziristan.

The report has raised concerns over the movement of suspected militants across the Afghanistan-Pakistan border and their presence in Pakistan’s tribal districts. South Waziristan has historically been a major area of militant activity and remains strategically significant because of its location along the Afghan border.

The identity and current whereabouts of the individual have not been independently verified. The allegations also do not provide publicly confirmed details regarding his alleged activities or affiliations beyond the claims made in the report.

Authorities and local residents are generally urged to report suspected militants or suspicious activity to law-enforcement agencies rather than taking matters into their own hands. Any verified information regarding the individual’s location could assist security authorities in investigating the case.

The allegation comes amid continued tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan over cross-border militancy, with Islamabad repeatedly calling on Afghan authorities to prevent armed groups from using Afghan territory for attacks against Pakistan.

Further official confirmation from Pakistani security authorities would be required to establish the identity, movements and activities of the individual described in the report.
