The Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF) has launched a targeted rocket attack against Taliban military outposts in the Hesa-e Awwal Kohistan district of Kapisa province. According to an official statement issued by the resistance front, the 20-minute nighttime operation in the Poz-e Kham-e Zargar area resulted in three Taliban members killed and two others wounded.

This latest strike highlights the widening scope of armed resistance against the regime in Kabul. Despite persistent claims of total administrative dominance and internal tranquility, opposition factions continue to execute swift, coordinated operations against fixed regime positions in strategic northern corridors.

The recurring violent clashes reflect a fundamental breakdown in Afghan governance and security management. The inability to maintain order within domestic boundaries illustrates how authoritarian control fails to deliver actual regional stability, leaving critical provinces exposed to ongoing insurgent activity.

For neighboring states, particularly Pakistan, persistent internal strife inside Afghanistan poses direct national security concerns. Unchecked violence and fragile governance along shared border corridors heighten cross-border risks and fuel broader regional uncertainty.

International observers emphasize that durable peace cannot be sustained through media silence or heavy-handed control. Without genuine political stability and security reform, internal resistance will continue to challenge the Taliban’s hold on power and destabilize South Asian border regions.
