JALALABAD — An agreement has been signed between the Jalalabad Municipality and a private company for the reconstruction and modernization of Shaheed Adam Khan intersection, also known as Talaashi Chowk.
According to a press release from the Nangarhar Provincial Media Office, the four-way intersection will be rebuilt in a modern and fundamental manner under the agreement. The project will be financed entirely by the private company.
Officials say the reconstruction is intended to improve the overall appearance of the area and create a more organized environment for residents and motorists.
The project is also expected to help regulate vehicle movement and improve traffic flow at the busy intersection. Authorities believe that upgrading the junction will contribute to better traffic management and enhance the urban appearance of Jalalabad.
The agreement marks another step toward improving public infrastructure in the city through cooperation between local authorities and the private sector.
Officials have expressed optimism that the project will provide a more modern and functional intersection for residents and visitors while contributing to the broader development and beautification of Jalalabad.
