Local sources in Kabul have reported the brutal murder of a young girl, whose body was discovered under suspicious circumstances in the capital city.

According to information provided to local media outlets, the victim’s body was found in the Qala-e-Wazir neighborhood, located within the jurisdiction of Kabul’s fifth security district (PD5). Sources confirmed that visible signs of severe physical beating and multiple stab wounds were present on the young girl’s body. The exact motive behind the violent attack and the identity of the perpetrators remain unknown.

This incident marks the third recorded case of mysterious and violent murders targeting young women and girls across the country within the span of a single month. Similar tragic discoveries were previously documented in Faryab and Logar provinces, where the bodies of two other young women were recovered under unexplained circumstances.

The growing frequency of unsolved, violent killings has heightened anxiety among urban residents and sparked intense public scrutiny regarding security across the country. Although de facto authorities consistently maintain that their security apparatus has established absolute nationwide law and order, the persistent rise of mysterious murders, domestic violence, and targeted assaults continues to expose acute vulnerabilities in civil protection and law enforcement.
