The freedom movements emerging in Afghanistan are an internal matter and have no connection with Pakistan, according to the statement. It said local Afghans are struggling for their freedom against the Taliban government, and Pakistan has no role in these developments.

The statement urged the Taliban authorities to resolve their internal political and security challenges themselves rather than blaming Pakistan for problems within Afghanistan. It also referred to Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid’s interview with Deutsche Welle (DW), arguing that his comments clearly demonstrate the pressure being placed on the Taliban by emerging freedom movements, particularly those originating in Badakhshan.

According to the statement, attempts to link these movements to Pakistan are merely an effort to divert attention from Afghanistan’s internal problems. It further alleged that militant organizations, including al-Qaeda, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM) and other groups, continue to find space or shelter on Afghan soil.

The statement argued that instead of holding Pakistan responsible, the Taliban government should address the security and political challenges developing within the country.

The remarks come amid continued tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan, particularly over allegations of cross-border militancy and the presence of militant groups in Afghanistan.
