KABUL/PANJSHIR — The National Resistance Front (NRF) of Afghanistan has issued a sharp denunciation of the ruling regime, stating unequivocally that the Taliban and ISIS are fundamentally two sides of the same coin. The statement counters what the front describes as a complex psychological and propaganda war campaign designed to misattribute terrorist activities and shift blame for ongoing national crises.
Shared Ideological Roots
According to the NRF, both extremist factions draw sustenance from the same intellectual source. They rely heavily on dogma, excommunication, and limitless violence to advance their agendas.
The front highlighted that while occasional friction or operational rivalry occurs between the two groups over power-sharing, their strategic goals remain identical. By weaponizing extremism, both movements have projected a brutal and distorted image of religious beliefs while inflicting severe suffering on the Afghan population.
Masking Domestic Failures
The NRF accused Kabul’s administration of trying to mask its own complicity in national instability. Rather than accepting accountability for governance failures, the regime routinely attempts to deflect blame by attributing internal security collapses to external adversaries or rival militant factions.
Concluding its official statement, the resistance movement reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to fighting for a free, independent, and truly terrorism-free Afghanistan, signaling that armed and political opposition will persist until systemic tyranny is dismantled.
