Armed opposition to the de facto administration continues to manifest in various northern pockets of the country. According to statements released by the Sham Resistance Front, their forces executed a targeted tactical operation against Taliban military positions located within the Fering district of Baghlan province.

The engagement reportedly commenced late at night around 11:00 PM. According to the front’s official brief, the surprise raid dealt a direct blow to the stationed personnel, leaving three Taliban members dead and two others sustaining injuries. The resistance group confirmed that following the successful execution of the assault, all participating fighters disengaged cleanly and returned to their secure positions without facing any counter-casualties.

This incident highlights the persistent low-intensity security friction confronting the administration in rugged northern terrains like Baghlan. Despite heavy policing and security measures imposed across the region, localized armed opposition continues to challenge the de facto authorities, keeping the security landscape volatile and unpredictable.
