KAPISA — The Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF) says its fighters stormed a Taliban checkpoint in the Tagab district of Kapisa province, in an assault the anti-Taliban armed group claims left three Taliban members dead and two more wounded.

According to a video and statement released by the group, the raid unfolded in the night time, as AFF fighters engaged Taliban forces manning the post in an exchange of gunfire. Footage circulated by the front afterward shows muzzle flashes lighting up the darkness, followed by an explosion at the site — imagery the group says documents the attack as it happened.

The Taliban’s de facto administration has so far remained silent on the claim, offering no statement on casualties or confirming that the attack took place at all.
